With recent movements like #EndStigma and the Bell #Letstalk, there has never been a better time to host this necessary conversation surrounding the Super Woman Syndrome, women’s mental health, the imbalanced strains and tremendous responsibilities that have been placed on women, especially women of colour, for generations. Our goal is to increase awareness and encourage conversation surrounding the ever-present topic. Proceeds of this event will go towards funding a local mental health initiative in the Ottawa/Gatineau region as well as the creation of the Sigma Beta Phi scholarship fund.
